B33: Sicillian Defense, Pelikan and Sveshnikov variations
1.e4 c5 2.Nf3 Nc6 3.d4 cxd4 4.Nxd4 Nf6 5.Nc3 e5 6.Nb3 Bb4
1.e4 c5 2.Nf3 Nc6 3.d4 cxd4 4.Nxd4 Nf6 5.Nc3 e5 6.Nb3 Bb4
7.Qf3 (My intention with this move is to cover both c3 and e4 squares and develope a piece. Silly really. 7. Bd3 is better). 7...d5 8.exd5 Qxd5 9.Qxd5 Nxd5 10.Bd2 Bxc3 (Nothing new in the game, all of the previous moves have been tried before. Now all I have to do is take with the b pawn and Mr. Grandmaster has the pawn structure weakness he wanted. Being one not to cooperate, I make my move)

Nice Game. Yeah Bd3 is much better. Qf3 would have worked had you had Bc4 earlier. Larry's Darl squared bishop is menacing.
He is known for his attackign abilities. I see Larry a lot at events in these parts. He's a pretty decent guy.
BP: Thanks for stopping by. I was very intimidated to play a Grandmaster, no matter how nice that person turned out to be.
My blunder was preventable and it truly bothers me to make such a blunder. All I had to do is accept that he achieved a small victory when he weakened my pawn structure, but I was so focused on not given him that...well, the rest is history.
Yes, Larry turned out to be a really nice guy!
That fat guy on the left looks like he is going to throw up. He is covering his mouth. I wonder what he ate. I bet it was 4 big macs and a small diet coke.
